Nationals won 3 gold and 2 silver medals in the evening session of the fourth day of the championship.

Nationals won 8 medals, including 5 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze.

In men’s floor, Ali Sofuoğlu defeated Spanish Damian Quintero and won the gold medal.

Ali, who defeated the world and European champion Spanish Quintero, brought the first European championship to Turkey.

In the men’s kumite 60kg final, Eray Şamdan defeated Latvian Kalvis Kalnins and took the top spot. Eray reached the first European championship of his career in adults.

Serap is the European champion for the 5th time

Serap Özçelik Arapoğlu, who defeated German Shara Hubrich in the Kumite 50 kg final, won the gold medal.

The national athlete, who will represent Turkey at the Tokyo Olympics, won the 5th gold medal in his career in the European championships.

Women’s Kumite National Team consisting of Eda Eltemur, Merve Çoban, Meltem Hocaoğlu and Gülsen Demirtürk won the silver medal after losing to Germany.

Dilara Bozan, who fought on the women’s floor, lost to her Spanish rival Jaime Sandra Sanchez and remained in the silver medal.

In the championship today, Meltem Hocaoğlu Akyol and Uğur Aktaş won the gold medal and Eda Eltemur took the bronze in the daytime session.
